And now some news about our town Marigliano

Marigliano is an ancient town and counts 30,000 inhabitants most of whom were born right here. Just in the last few years, immigrants from Eastern Europe and Africa have started to settle down in the cities and its surroundings to find a job and a better quality of life.

The town, situated at 30 meters on the sea level, has an area of 22,3 square Kms; it is served by the local railway station Circumvesuviana and a bus line connecting Marigliano to Naples in about 30 minutes.A further bus service is also available for the citizens to go from one place to another of the city and to the surrounding areas: therefore Marigliano is not so small.
Neither it is far away from the the most interesting and famous tourist sites of the region Campania. Actually in less than one hour by car ( not more than 30 miles) you could reach Capri, Sorrento, Pompei, Amalfi, Positano, Caserta or Ischia….., all sites famous all over the world for their natural, art and historical beauties.

Marigliano is situated not far from Naples, about 14 miles from its city centre and 12 miles from the airport of Capodichino. Neither the capital, Rome, is so far, only 120 miles away and it takes just two hours and half by coach, two by car or only one and forty by the train Eurostar.
