08:00 – Visit to 8o Geniko Lykeio Volou – Workshops

17:00 – Sight seeing: town centre, university, conservatory, church of
St. Nikolaos etc. prepared and guided by the Greek students

February 26
08:00 – A day’s outing to Meteora (Natural/Cultural World Heritage site)

February 27
09:00 – Welcome for our guests at the Town Hall

10:00 – Visit to the archaeological sites of Sesklo and Dimini (two of the most
important Neolithic settlements in Europe), to the reconstructed ship
of Argo and to the Archaeological Museum of Volos

17:00 – Students give interview to a local TV station

21:00 – Watching a play about ancient Greece

February 28
08:00 – Workshops at school

11:00 – Visit to the village of Milies (museum, church, library)

14:00 – Tour around Mountain Pilion

February 29
08:30 – Visit to the Centre of Environmental Education in Makrinitsa –
Workshops

16:00 – Departure from Volos to Athens (for the German and Norwegian
delegations)

08:00 – Departure from Volos to Athens (for the Italian and the Spanish
delegations)
